The smell of flowers

The limestone pavement at burren is famous for its wide variety of flowers ranging from alpine gentian to marshland orchids. Amazing. We cycled today to the burren perfumery where all of the fragrances are inspired by the burren flowers. The is a strict no pick policy for ecological and Sustainability so essential oils are brought from elsewhere.

We had an appetising lunch with produce from the garden with homebaked bread and cakes.

We cycled a loop of about 40km today overlooking places we had walked yesterday, along with passing some ancient tombs. Wow. We finished off the day walking misty to the local lake to watch the swans before returning to the site for another barbecue.
