Corofin Village Camping Park
The Burren
What a difference, Yorkshire eat your heart out, never seen as big an area of limestone pavement. Fantastic! Unexpectedly flowers everywhere growing on nothing but thriving just the same. Fossils seen at every other step and the views stretching for miles. Misty was the star of the day with the ground under foot not suited to an old English sheepdog but she scrambled, jumped and was pulled over every obstacle presented to her. It was a hard going 8km but well worth it and the sun shone until the last mile but came out again for another barbecue later on.
A fantastic burren national park free bus saved us a lot of hassle parking in a tight space with lots of other cars. very convenient at every half hour.
