Castles and Fairies

Visited Donegal Town and it’s Castle following our breakfast overlooking Fintra Bay. Misty enjoyed a longer than normal walk along the beach this morning.

Found a wee hidden away craft shop in Donegal and bought an unusually sculpture of a reading lady and got a lucky penny in return.

Drove to Bundoran to see "groups of fairies are constantly heard, and sometimes seen flying hastily from end to end" rev. G N Wright 1834

We walked over the fairy bridges and made a wish in the wishing chair (a very touristry thing to do)

Tullan Strand, another great stretch of sand was covered with dozens of would be surfers. Obviously west Ireland beaches are a surfers paradise.

Farewell to Donegal, passed through Leitrim, Sligo and now in Co. Mayo parked next to Lough Conn. Supper eaten outside in the evening sunshine. Perfect
