We put a bit more effort in today with a round trip walk of 10 miles. Well you do have to find the right place don’t you? This happened to be Saint Remy les Chevreuse and up a hill again. The walk there was interesting passing thatched cottages, more chateau and plenty of cobbled streets. We failed to find somewhere for lunch but found a fan zone with loads of entertainment with food and drink. So we sat in the sunshine watched the entertainment, listened to English music and ate our lunch.

We saw more of the race today and seemed closer to the excitement but again it was all over too quickly. On the walk back we stopped at the local Auberge and finished watching the race on the tablet with a beer. The final 10km of the race was really exciting,qq unfortunately the brits were out of the medals but put on a really good show.
