Our aim today, if at all possible, was to see some part of stage 20 of the Tour. We knew it would be difficult as people park up 2 days in advance of a stage but we gave it a go. We failed!!!! After 1 hours drive, no parking spots at all within about 6 miles of the route, and 2 stops by the gendarmerie, we had no choice but to turn back.

C’est la Vie we went for lunch instead 😀😀. This took about 2 hours, service was slow but some things can be forgiven. It was hot and the food was delicious.

Once back in Isola 2000 we went looking for a waterfall, nothing great! But we did get a sense of where Isola was in the surrounding countryside. The only thing left to do was to work out how to switch on the TV to watch the end of stage 20.
