We thought we would try another walk today as we woke up with no aches and pains and Sixty was complaining like mad that we left her behind yesterday. We set off a bit earlier and took our lunch with us this time. The route today was just as pretty but steeper. We climbed 500m straight up before lunch, but the path was very good and well cared for. We met lots of people with happy smiley faces including a big group of Italians who had walked over from Italy. Our destination today was Lacs de Terre Rouge. It was here we sat and had our lunch. Although this was at least the 3rd lake we passed, all looking beautiful and crystal clear, Barbara was not tempted to jump in as it looked very cold.

We could not take the same route back down as Sixty wanted to go to Italy so we did the grand tour into Italy and then back along a beautiful old cart track that we missed yesterday. A good day was had by all again.
