The morning after the night before so breakfast was late. We went to gather supplies from the boulangerie and corner shop after which we went on a grand tour of Sablet. Sablet is a hill top village, all the roads are concentric circles leading to the church on top with walls. It is very small and beautiful so we were back at the appartment for lunch. We did note that last night’s sand covered square had been tidied and all the sand scooped up by mini diggers.
This afternoon was very leisurely as 32 degrees is far too hot to do anything else but lie in the shade with a book.
We chanced our luck and tried for tickets to an outdoor performance. Woohoo we got them!! The play started at 9.30 and although all in French we followed the plot as we knew the story of Don Quixote ( Don Quichotte in french) after visiting the giants/windmills in La Mancha in spain last year. A great evening followed by a walk back in the moonlight.
