60 hours after leaving home in Edinburgh we have arrived in Ouistreham (Caen). A long journey but we were rewarded with a beautifully smooth crossing, sun all the way. We ventured all of 500m to our overnight hotel, and are drinking French bubbly and English elderflower cordial to celebrate our arrival.
