Les Jardins de Monet à Giverny

We agree. Love the paintings and the gardens are awesome. Quite small gardens, one filled with colour and the other water and lillies. Our kind of gardens, no formality other than the paths, just an abundance of colours every where and any where. The gardeners must work very hard to keep his vision alive and at the same time keep100’s of 1000’s of visitors smiling.

We were prepared today. We went early to avoid the heat as Misty has to stay in the van and we knew we wouldn’t be able to park in the shady car park close to the garden. We loved the gardens and it was even better we got there before the masses.

We finished the day with a walk along the Seine, which Misty enjoyed. The only time we had her on the lead was to stop her diving into the wide fast flowing river.
