sailing along on the crest of a wave…

hired 2 canoes this morning and paddled our way to the other end of the lake. Can’t quite explain the experience but think peace and perfection and you’re nearly there. Blue water, blue skies (until it clouded over) and rippling muscles (hee hee) and probably a bit of tiredness tomorrow. Minor panic as Barbara swam and threatened to topple Ian out of the canoe. Lots of laughing!!!

We adjourned from our activities to go back to the van and had lunch before Misty joined us to walk the 10k around the lake this afternoon (gelato helped).

Being a lovely sunny day despite the weather forecast. Misty asleep again .
