Far from the madding crowd

Where have all the people gone 😊😊😊😊😊.

We arrived Sunday afternoon with cars parked for miles along the road side and we thought ohoh !! But when the sun went down they all went home and we’ve hardly seen a soul since. Our campsite is small but perfectly formed and set on a terrace just above the local river. Misty’s leg is still sore but she really enjoyed plodging in the cool water.

It’s slightly cooler today so after a short walk this morning we left Misty in the van and followed the river into the hills. We walked an hour one way, a beautiful peaceful walk passing many small waterfalls and then returned to find Misty fast asleep. Just in time as the heavens opened, a thunderstorm cooled everything down but didn’t stop our barbeque 😊😊
