April Fools

We joked about snow but Max did not appreciate the joke when he woke covered in the stuff.

Snow became the theme of the day driving towards Austria, it was definitely a joke!!

You’ve got to laugh about having to produce passports and vaccine certifcates to sit inside a cafe with a cup of coffee.

Boffy, close friend of Sixty, got a close up of a German armoured vehicle nearly obscured by the snow an spray. Bet they thought it was no joke!

It was no laughing matter when we stopped for lunch and the cafe was closed for refurbishment. Fortunately they had things covered with outside catering and parasols and the sandwich and muffins were delicious.

Four countries in one day, could be a joke, but not for us as we’re adventurers. Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. ✅✅✅✅

Our wee apartment (bigger than our flat) is lovely. The hosts could speak a tiny bit of English, but we got by. And the restaurant was a stones throw away and the did speak English. The black truffles and the Istrian stew were delightful.
