An interesting day

How many Germans, Italians, Dutch and British campers does it take to pull our motor home out of the slippery pitch?? All of them😊😊. That was the first interesting part of our day.

The second was arriving in Gubbio to find it a most well cared for medieval Italian town strewn with flags. How they keep it looking like this we do not know. Of course we knew it was the ceri festival tomorrow, wait till the candles arrive in the morning.

A minor mishap Barbara was stung by a wasp walking through the clover. The wasp came out worst .

We discovered another eccentric part of this town. A cable car going straight up the side of a mountain, cable car is not quite right. Open metal cages only holding 2 people is a better description. It did go straight up the mountain to the church dedicated to the towns patron saint. (reason for the festival). How many British people get stuck on top of the mountain during a thunder storm which stopped our lift down. It was OK once the rain stopped the lift started.

All in all an interesting day.
