We’ll give this one a Tick

Sat outside in the sunshine for breakfast, even Misty joined us. Thought we’d take Misty up a wee hill this morning, just to keep her moving. In actual fact we think she loved it! A steady pace to the top, then ran us all the way back down. We could not keep up with her, maybe she just wanted to get back to the van!!  Had a nice chat with some folks from Essex, even thought about cycling this afternoon!! Then the Scottish weather came true to form, yes the heavens opened and we hid in the van for the afternoon. Now for the 1st time we can see the top of Ben Klibreck, out local Monro, and Loch Naver is flat calm. A lovely evening with wee lambs skipping and hopping around the van. The only real downside of the day were the ticks. We were warned they are rampant in the highlands. We did wear long trousers, but one got Misty and one ot Barbara. Fortunately we know how to deal with them! Pesky little blighters!! Good job it’s not midges season, the two together would be a nightmare!!
