No body told us..

They’re bigger, slower and just as vicious as our wee midge but here they call them mosquitoes … and nobody told us!!! We had enough of them last night (we have the lumps to prove it) and fortunately they are nowhere to be seen in Pisa.

Pisa is architecturally spectacular but on a bigger scale to what we have seen so far. We wandered the streets eventually making our way to the Piazza Del Duomo which of course holds the famous leaning tower of Pisa (and yes it does lean) as well as a cathedral and baptistery. The majority of white marble. We spent some time undertaking our favourite hobby of people watching as Misty rested……

Parked tonight in a secure camper aosta (car park) Everybody told us to go here as Pisa suffers from a lot of thefts from campers. There are loads of us here together

PS of course we had wine and gelato 😊
