All Comes to Those who Wai

And boy have we waited and waited and waited….

It’s good to be back on the road even if it is a bit closer to home than envisaged. We have forgotten how to pack the van so it took longer than expected so did not get away till after lunch.

It rained but the sun shone as well. Kinlochewe is miles away and the journey long but the view from above loch Maree was magnificent and well worth the drive. A wonderful welcome  to the Highlands.

We met a few friendly locals on the way, mostly of the wooden bear variety. On arrival we toasted them with a wee bit of the red stuff in  our self hand carved wooden mugs.

Its gone 8pm and the sun is peeping through the clouds allowing us to see the beautiful scenery around us whilst we contemplate a wee bit of Munro bagging.
