Borders
Haven’t seen them for a while. What’s that??? Not the Scottish Borders??? Oh well…
Crossing borders should have been a big thing for us but wor Nicola and BJ had too much to say about it. We thought about making a run for it but it was against the rules and us ordinary folk don’t break the rules!!
Enough of the joviality if things had gone to plan we would have been only a few miles from the Russian border. The borders of Finland are the dividing line between it and the neighbouring countries of Norway, Russia and Sweden. The total length of land borders of Finland is 2563km, (Norway 709km, Sweden 545km and Russia 1309km). Russian/ Finland borders are marked with blue and white and red and green posts respectively. We couldn’t find any so sorry you have to make do with plain wooden ones. We do take a bonnie picture though 😄😄
