Moose on the loose

As we cross the vast wilderness of Finland we could not help but come across at least one of the 100,000 Moose wandering around. We have of course met this one before 😁😁, maybe in the forests in Sweden, or maybe at Christmas time in our house. As you can see a large bull moose is known as king of the forest and is an imposing sight, but we know they are generally timid. On this occasion other drivers did not give due respect and there was a pile up, hence moose on the loose.

To celebrate our fortunate sighting we treated ourselves to a Jäätelöä. You’ve guessed it an ice cream. Finland consumes more ice cream per capita than any other European country.

“I scream. You scream. We all scream because…. Well, it’s Friday and what better way to celebrate than Finnish ice cream”

We know it’s only Tuesday but who cares with ice cream 🍦🍦
