It takes days like this to show how spectacular every other day is. We woke to sunshine this morning but had to do basics like shopping, good old Lidl, especially when they have promotions on, a 3 litre box of wine for €4.99. We set course for our next destination on what we thought would be a pretty coastal drive, which in some places it was. What we did see was some pretty heavy industrials going on which had been there a long time.

We arrived in Cudillero in the rain and was greeted by a very pretty little fishing village built into the cliffs. Let’s go to the top of this village and get a different view, so we wondered the streets up hill and found a some what dilapidated and derelict village behind the pretty facade. Still genuinely very interesting but don’t like the way some places are represented in the media.
