Parked at the entrance to Bilbao Funicular which took us directly to the center of Bilbao by the river. Great because we were parked over looking Bilbao, if there had been any cloud we would have been above them.

Glorious weather as we walked over the white bridge towards the Mercado de la Ribera, a food market, in a building with a glorious stained glass window. The pintxos were just as yummy as the last and included cod, mussels, chorizo, ham and cheese and the ultimate crispy pork with crackling.

After we had stuffed ourselves we walked around the old part of Bilbao following cobbled streets between flowered high balconies, and lots of people.

Called at the supermarket before getting the funicular back to misty. We walked her around a lovely green park with fantastic views over Bilbao and the Guggenheim museum which we will visit in the morning.
