Drove through the hills along little winding roads again with some fabulous views to San Jaun de Gaztelugatxe. A hermitage on an island joined by a bridge and 240 Steps. 4.30 and still 21 degrees. Very steep climb and very steep climb back up.

As well as Francis Drake attacking this hermitage looking for treasure it was also used as a set for the Dragon Castle in the Game of Thrones tv series

Didn’t take misty, it was a bit too hot for her so went back to a small car park where we walked her to an old lighthouse and back. Decided to stay here overnight and were rewarded by an astounding sunset over the Bay of Biscay
