Pamplona’s origins were to protect against marauding armies coming over the Pyrenees. Pleased to say we breached the fortifications and arrived in Spain today.

Beautiful warm evening chatting to other brits on the site. One of whom , from skye, was not going home for 6 months. It’s like mid summer again.

The journey through the foothills of the pyrenees, had hairpin bends galore 😀😀. Had a stop off to look at the views and the wild crocus and the Camino de Santiago walkers. (Rather them then than us walking 750km)

Misty made friends with some Dutch people who were feeding her bacon rind, she always was a tart😂😂😂.

Ate an Italian seafood risotto with a French bottle of lussac st. emilion wine surrounded by a Spanish sunset.
