Very calm, sunny and pleasant channel crossing. Landed in Calais 11.00am french time.

French roads are so much better than the British especially the toll roads which are almost empty so going a long distance quickly is worth paying for. Travelled 886 miles in 2 days half in Uk and half in France. We took it in turns to drive weather good with a few showers, scenery very English. Recieved a really warm welcome at la daviere, finished off with an excellent meal and very good company.
