Tours

After a relaxing walk in the park and strawberries for breakfast we left Bayeux. A tree lined drive was uneventful. After 300km and yummy pate du lapin for lunch we arrived at an overnight stop in an aire just south of Tours.

Barbara’s first big driving experience in France included driving part of the le mans 24hour race circuit. Fortunately just a bit slower than the race cars.

It reached 17deg today which made for a pleasant evening walk along the river before thinking about dinner.
