But the first brit was only 13th but hey we’ve been to the Olympics!!
We went to find a good viewing point for the men’s Olympic road race and then we meant to go for a walk. One out of two wasn’t bad, we found a good spot and didn’t want to loose it so we put up our flags and Sixty claimed the spot. Three hours later it took the peloton all of 30 seconds to pass by us! We waved and shouted, Sixty also jumped in the air, but they didn’t go any faster. It was up hill though. One small boy and his dad rode up and down the hill numerous times whilst waiting for the Olympic cyclists, the young man loving every minute, not sure about dad!
After all the screaming and shouting we got our walk around the edge of Chateau de Breteuil back to our swimming pool. Not as warm as yesterday but still worthy.
Time to watch the finish of the road race, earler they had passed us with 100kms to go. However the dog, howen was his name ( think snowy in the adventures of tin_tin) wanted to watch with us but still no brits going fast enough.
