Decided not to push on and get to Josselin by boat and rush our relaxed week. So after cleaning the boat this morning and completing all the beaurocracy we said goodbye to our Capris boat and the rivers, jumped in Max and headed to Josselin by road.
Aptly named, a small city of character. We arrived to masses of flowers and medieval buildings. We drove around several times because all the carports were full because of the Saturday Market. We eventually found a space, walked to the canal and got the full wow factor of Josselin castle.
What a beautiful place and lovely market. Sausage and onion crepes are even better than a Sausage bap!
Onward and upwards over the St Nazaire bridge, reputedly the longest bridge in France. It was certainly spectacular.
we were greeted at Gillian and Terrys with an enormous welcome and settled down to a lovely meal and an evening of catch up chatter.
