Squirrels yesterday Swallows today

Thursdays 20th April 2023

‘Milk! We need Milk’ the coffee pods we found in the cupboard were 2 years out of date, so no way hosea! We also needed to do some washing and exploring of the area. Washing in and then down to Tossa de Mar, and the local supermarket. We did find a local market going on so we had a little look.

Back to the apartment for our lunch, hanging out washing and watching the shallows fly. They have made a nest under the roof of our balcony, not sure if they are sitting on eggs or feeding young.

We needed to explore our ghost complex, we reckon there are another 20 people here with us, so nice and peaceful. The coast line is very beautiful but very rocky. Our little private beach has sand? We wandered up the hill behind us, how you get a car up there is beyond us. Houses built everywhere, mainly into the rockface. Very different to any we had seen before. Unexpectedly at the end of one of the unpaved roads we found a small, but very unusual church, just an altar fenced off without any seats, it looked like it had been used recently.

Washing drying quite quickly on the balcony although it is a bit cooler today.
