Bears, Wolves and Nudists

Bears, Wolves and Nudists

On our way to Trsteno we passed lots of signs for bears and wolves, but never saw any. When we stopped for lunch (ate part of our easter egg for pudding) we unwittingly were next to a nudist beach, we averted or eyes. Instead we walked along the promenade and took in the calm Adriatic views, and then went for gelato. The sea was irresistible, and as you can see Barbara went for a swim. Please note she had her swim suit on.

The Biokovo nature reserve was a spectacular back drop to the coast line, unfortunately the sky walk viewing platform was closed for extension so we couldn’t drive up the mountain to get an even better view.

Next stop lidl, we needed 3 days of food, successful.

The drive along the coast line to Trsteno was as spectacular as we had seen, and the vegetation a lot more lush. We also passed through orange groves, road side sellers all over the place.

Our apartment has a great terrace with a great view. We went to explore a little bit before dinner and found the tiny harbour glowing in the evening sunset.
