Scattered Clouds, 7°C
The sun has not got his hat on as we eat breakfast but we gradually climb out of the cloud and into the sunshine. The journey to our next stopover was only 55 miles but wow did we pass through some more magnificent mountain scenery. We cant seem to steer away from the NC500 but the only downside today was the only shop in Drumbeg was shut. Too many wows to do justice in this blog but suffice to say that the van did not go over 20mph on the narrow, uppy downy twisty coast road. At one stage the road seemed to be heading straight for a rock face before the road turned through the cutting.
The country side flattened as we neared the Stoer lighthouse although Misty did not think it was flat on the walk to the Old Man of Stoer 3k beyond the lighthouse. After seeing this, our 3rd major sea stack, we came back to the van and sat in the sun with a glass of wine and waited for the sunset.
