The aim today was a to get to Cape Wrath, the most Northwesterly point of mainland British Isles, but the British Army said NO, and as we did not want to get shot we made a detour. We walked to Sandwood Beach which was awesome. Egg mayo sandwiches overlooking an awesome expance of white sand and turquoise sea is the best. The Cape Wrath lighthouse could be seen in the distance. Out detour took us along the cliffs passed a sea stack which 2 silly buggers were climbing!!! Hope they made it down ok!. All in all a beautiful sunny day in astounding scenery, what more could you ask for. Well Misty did (she has being looking after the van again) so a short drive to Oldshoremore revealed yet another amazing beach. Misty was happy, we were tired, we’ll all sleep well tonight.
