Misty was feeling a wee bit better today so we thought we would try her with a walk. She was amazing and we ended up doing a circuit above the campsite of about 4miles. Up under the Cuillins and back down again. We met several groups one of which was made up of 3 adults and 3 children aged 7, 7 and 10. We were as impressed with them as they were with Misty. They had cycled yesterday and were thinking about cycling along the same track we did yesterday as well as scrambling part way up the Cuillins. Following closely behind them was a young couple with an 18 month little girl in a backpack. Dad was sweating a bit and could not imagine what it would be like when she got to 4. The 3 adventurors camped opposite us said they were going cycling but ended up disappearing up the mountain with climbing ropes. We met a couple, John and Jill, with a dog even older than Misty and doing very well indeed. We spoke to them back at the campsite and discovered John was a UK record holder at distance swimming under water without flippers, over 7 lengths and can hold his breath for 6 minutes when free diving. They were married on Iona 2 years ago. Guess where we hope to go to sometime on this Journey and they also like Jethro Tull.
