Magic Moments

Scattered Clouds, 9°C

Glen Brittle, Isle Of Skye

Today we chose the sun, we could have gone along the Black Cuillin ridge but no longer do we have to be to be cold, wet,sat in the snow with no view.😂😂😂

Misty had to stay in the van as her paw is still raw.

It was a lovely track to the end of the peninsula. We sat having lunch sat in the sunshine overlooking a wee loch. Awesome. We had made good progress so thought lets make a new route back. We had already seen our first magic moment when a sea eagle flew overhead. The second was when we stopped to finish our coffee by a small lochan when around the corner came four large deer. Two splashing in the water. Although we were down wind the the second two seemed to sense us although we were very quiet. The whole route was about 10 miles and on arrival back at the campsite we found the camp shop sold magnums 🍦🍦🍦 very much appreciated although maybe not quite as much as the beer back at the van.

The third magic moment was watching Misty running in the sea, life in the old dog yet.
