What’s blue and yellow and was born in Sweden? IKEA of course. IKEA is formed using the founders initials and where he was born. We didn’t think we had been to Sweden but we’ve certainly been on a Swedish design journey. We fitted out our cafe with furniture from IKEA.

“Why are beautiful products only made for a few buyers? It must be possible to offer good design and function at low prices” Ingvar Kamprad.

This sentiment fully explains why we needed IKEA for the cafe.

We went on to furnish our renovated church with bedroom, conservatory and garden furniture from IKEA. As you can see we still love IKEA furniture and we even have a vintage IKEA table.

No you are wrong, it’s not because we’re from Yorkshire 😄😂

Of course no visit to Sweden would be complete without a visit to the IKEA museum which is located in one of the first IKEA stores.
