Today we took Misty for a walk to visit a German Market. ‘What no Market!!!’ Everywhere was locked up and no one was around. There were no stalls or anything. Then we remembered it was a Christmas Market. Oops, nevermind, not many people to enjoy it with at the moment. Misty was quite looking forward to a frankfurter, never mind theres always another day…

Our wanderings led us through empty streets with shuttered shops which are usually bustling with shoppers and tourists, and back to our own garden with its own barrier, the garden wall. Walls are a sign of separation especially in Germany. No we are not going to pull down our garden wall but will welcome the removal of the current global barrier so we can meet up once again with people from the other side.
