Elciego, Álava, Spain
We like small and especially when it is perched on a rock. Famously, or it should be, Frias is the smallest city in Spain, and the third smallest in the world. A castle fortress perched high on a rock with a church and houses all built into that rock. We climbed the well preserved cobbled streets and paid our 2 euro to go inside a Tardis which was much bigger on the inside with battlements to walk and towers to climb. The tallest tower on a well worn piece of rock was really high up, even the few cars on the streets below look like miniatures from the top.
We had lunch in one of the small bars before retrieving Misty from the van and going for a walk to the Roman Bridge.
