Cangas de Onís, Asturias, Spain
We had heard that this was a good market and it was with lots of local produce. We bought smelly Cabrales cheese, Chorizo pie and strawberries. Walked to see the “Roman” bridge built in the 12th or 13th century 🤣🤣🤣 (on roman foundations).
We then drive up this amazing gorge, sheer cliffs, overhanging rocks, hairpin bends and a wee road, lovely 😀😀. One of the villages at the top was amazing, obviously on the up and up with a big new car park. The 3 of us had a lovely walk around the village noting the old style buildings. And then we had to drive back 😀😀😀. Just as scary but wow wow and wow.
Back in Cangas de Onis for the night and a quick walk along the river to keep our ever demanding pup happy.
