We happened on another festival again. Mini San Fermin without the actual running of the bulls is tomorrow’s main event. Surveyed the 10km cycle route into Pamplona, had coffee before securing the bikes and wandering the old town cobbled streets for a couple of hours. Saw the bull ring and the fort before ending up in the cathedral which was huge and grandiose with lots of gold and silver. Headed back to the bikes but could not resist the ice cream. The 10km cycle home was slightly harder.

Showered and changed before walking misty to a small village where happily there was a bar? Finished the evening with a lovely barbecue.
