carpe Diem….

Light Rain, 12°C

Claviere TO, Italy

carpe Diem….

And here we are seizing the moment. We’ve driven from lake orta through even more mountains, bigger and more snow covered, to reach Clavier the site of the Tibetan bridge. Clavier is another ghost town in the summer as sking seems to be it’s main focus. But the Tibetan bridge is the longest suspended bridge in the world ranging from 30 to 90 meters high. It’s actually 3 suspended bridges joined together with a bit of Via ferrata stuck in the middle but who’s counting, we’re here, we’re doing it, even though or knees are trembling.
