Life on the ocean waves

We knew it was going to be hotter today so the 3 of us took to the water. A cheap day ticket on the local ferry service meant we could hop on and off boats all day long, and that is what we did.

A coffee across the lake at Pello, a walk around the tiny Iseola San Guilio with its silent walk (main part of the island taken up with a convent ) and after a short stop in Orta for lunch, a trip down the full length of the lake to Omegna and back.

Misty was bouncing today and loved every minute of it, no problems getting on and off boats and of course everyone loved her.

The whole area is beautiful so we savoured the rest of the afternoon by sitting at a small cafe relishing a degustezione (tasting of local products) including a bottle of local wine.
