another day in paradise (except for the thunder 😊)

An especially hot and sticky day and although a couple of thunder storms passed over head we stayed dry. Our walk in the morning with Misty was as cool as the day got. The backdrop was magnificent although the river was too deep for Misty. Took the chance straight after lunch to take a dip in the lake (Barbara), Misty does not like swimming so instead ran up and down the shore barking and splashing. The water was freezing so it was a very short lived swim, we are in the mountains 😊😊.

Walked to the village this afternoon got back to the van just before the heavens opened.

Lovely relaxing day. The rest of the day was spent taking in the views and reading.
